TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE HAVE DONE! Added three signs near Sturgeon Park and the Paper Mill to direct users to the trail. Added signage at both Mountain Bay Trail Bar in Eland and at All Aboard Nutrition in Shawano, for selling trail passes. In partnership with Shawano Pathways, added pedestrian crossing signage to Main Street. Added intersection road signs to the back of stop signs. Also pictured, the Adopt-a-Trail sign. Added numbers to all of the shelters. Sign Projects We have added and/or updated signage to improve wayfind on the Mountain Bay Trails. An Eagle Scout added a shelter to a picnic table and landscaping. Volunteers pulled up all of the boards, flipped them, and replaced warped boards with new boards. Over the course of Fall of 22 and Spring of 23, we have enhanced four shelters. Added a fix it station to each of the four enhanced shelters for general bike maintenance on the trail. A completed enhanced shelter including the fix it station, bike pump, and hooks in case a stranded bicyclist needed an emergency shelter for the night.
